Christmas is just over a week away, for holiday sweets, we got you covered.

This week we will have decorated sugar cookies and gingerbread, as well as a large assortment of regular cookies. We also have an all natural fruit cake(made in house and nut free!), and panettone from Italy. We have an assortment of tarts, and we will have cakes and traditional Buche de Noel. For cakes we do recommend calling ahead an reserving if you are hoping for a particular flavour or size.

Grand Opening!

This past weekend we celebrated our grand opening of our brand new store in Vancouver's East Village.
A lot of hard work went into the space, as we built the bakery starting with nothing at all in the space. Check out this before picture:

We got help from our amazing friends and family to get this space ready. It took us from September 1st to December 1st (opening day). About a month longer then we projected it would take us, but the end result was worth it.

Our awesome signage was done by Dan at Sticky Signs. He did such a great job! 

Inside we have a selection of cakes, cupcakes, and cookies. As well as some seasonal items like fruit cake and panettone. 

Our cake selection changes season to season, and cupcakes from day to day. If you are looking for a particular flavour we recommend contacting us in advance. Of course our custom cakes and wedding cakes are still available too! Also, we are now offering complimentary tastings for wedding cake orders (appointments must be booked in advance). 

We do have vegan and gluten free cake options! Just ask :)

We have so many things worth celebrating. We just hit 500 "likes" on Facebook! We feel so honoured to have so many friends, clients, and fans keeping up with what we are doing. Also, we just moved into a brand new bakery! That itself is a dream come true!

So, we are going to celebrate!

We are giving one person a 6" custom decorated cake! A 6" cake can feed up to 12 people. Need to serve more then 12? We will add on cupcakes or extra tier's of cake, and give you %15 off the price! This cake can be for any occasion- engagement, wedding, birthday, a shower, you name it!

Parisian Bridal Shower

I just had to share a few pictures from this lovely Parisian themed bridal shower. This was a very special day for me as the bridal shower was my own!

We enjoyed afternoon tea and tea-tini's. All the gorgeous treats and decor was made entirely by my amazing bridesmaids and myself!

My wedding colours are pink and gold, I tried to match the macarons colours!

Of course, cheese! One thing I love more then sweets.

Here is the cake- I created a new recipe just for this shower, an Earl Grey tea flavoured cake! It was made of vanilla sponge, Earl Grey infused ganache, pastry cream and chantilly cream. It was DIVINE! I loved it so much, I've added it to our menu at the shop!

We Have a New Home!

Exciting news! We have now moved to our new location at 3458 E Hastings St. in the Hastings-Sunrise area of Vancouver. Our brand new kitchen is all set up, and we are now open by appointment and accepting special orders.

Even better news is that in mid October we will be opening our retail portion of our store and you will be able to come pick up our cakes, cupcakes and cookies anytime!

It has been a huge labour of love, and I would like to thank all my family, friends, and customers for all their support during this transition.

Cakes for a Great Cause

We had a great opportunity to donate one of our cakes to the Cake Auction for ALS at the 26^th  Annual ALS Memorial Golf Tournament at Quilchena Golf & Country Club. This year over $3,500 total was raised in the auction.

Our cake:

The money raised will help we able to offer these key services:

·         Caregiver Days throughout B.C. AND

·         Extensive equipment loan program

·         Transportation assistance for people living with ALS

·         Support programs for caregivers and children affected by ALS

·         Psychological support to people affected by ALS (patient and family)

·         Web based Care Connections program. Connecting friends who want to help, to the patient and caregiver.

·         Applied research programs

·         Support of the ALS Centre Specialists

·         Mobile Clinics

·         Support Groups

·         Increased awareness and education

·         Camp Alohi Lani for youth who have a parent or grandparent living with ALS
